With the recent popularity of the James Cameron’s 3D movie, Avatar, you know you’ll be seeing Avatar movie related tattoos. This particular piece was done in a Spokane shop called Skin Candy Custom Tattoos – the artist wasn’t given credit but the site has samples of lots of nice tattoo art. Estimates on the costs related to shooting the movie range from $200 million to $300 million. As the sequels come out – and you know they will – and the DVD sales begin soon – you’ll see these tattoos become more and more popular. Similar to the Harry Potter phenomenon, I anticipate the Avatar movement to be in it’s infancy. The blue flesh looks good on skin
